Delete Account
You can permanently delete your Humboldt account at any time.
Delete Your Account in the Humboldt App
If you can sign in to Humboldt:
- Open Humboldt.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the confirmation and confirm that you want to delete your account.
Once account deletion is completed, your Humboldt account cannot be restored.
Request Deletion Without Access to the App
If you cannot access Humboldt, you can request account deletion by email.
Send an email from the email address associated with your Humboldt account to:

We may take reasonable steps to verify that you own the account before processing the request.
Please never send your Humboldt password.
What Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, Humboldt removes your account and identifying profile information along with account-linked information that is no longer needed.
This includes information associated with your identity and social account relationships.
What May Be Retained
Certain information from Moments may be retained in de-identified form after your account is deleted.
This may include information such as:
- The song associated with a Moment
- The Vibe or sub-vibe associated with the Moment
- Emotional context associated with the Moment
- Other non-identifying Moment information
Humboldt retains this de-identified information so aggregate features such as Pulse can continue to reflect how music connects with emotion, and so Humboldt can understand patterns and improve or develop future features.
Retained Moment information is no longer associated with your Humboldt account or profile.
Some de-identified or aggregate operational information may also remain.
